Despite garnering stellar reviews from critics, sales of Titanfall 2 have been subpar, and seem to have fallen way below expectations for EA. The future of the franchise hangs in the balance, but it seems that the company is at least confident in the game's long term success.

Speaking at the Credit Suisse 20th Annual Technology, Media & Telecom Conference this week, as reported by Games Industry, EA's Peter Moore actually dismissed the notion that the company is worried about its performance, stating that they're in fact confident:

"One thing we do incredibly well is take a great title like this and leverage it for many years to come," he said. "We're going to be selling Titanfall 2 on a global basis for many, many years."

EA has yet to talk concrete sales numbers, but it seems that positive word of mouth could potentially save the game in the end. We definitely think it deserves it - do you?
