One of the problems with both Wii and Wii U has been a low third party development, leaving the console without most of the major IPs. Fortunately, it seems like Nintendo are making an effort to change this with Switch, according to the Take-Two President Karl Slatoff who, during a recent event, said:

"The Nintendo folks I think are making a great effort to reach out to third-party developers, which I think is fantastic. I would say we're very optimistic and they're good partners. We're excited to work with them in the future on it."

Even though he said that they are excited to work with Nintendo, Slatoff added that they're "not announcing anything specific today." Still sounds like there might be Take-Two support in the future. Since they have games like Bioshock, Borderlands, WWE 2K, and Rockstar titles, this might turn out like an important thing for Nintendo if they can convince them.
