In five days EA Sports has sold a whopping 4.5 million copies of FIFA 13 across all platforms and territories. Naturally, the UK has been very strong (1.23 million copies in the first 48 hours), but the game also managed a North American record at launch (353,000 in its first day).
There's no doubt that FIFA is the biggest sports franchise in video games, the question is now whether it could challenge Call of Duty in overall sales.
