When Playground Games revealed the Alpinestars car pack earlier this month they also gave us a teasing image of a car going through snow. They told us it was related to an expansion coming later this year, and now we know all about it.
The expansion is called Blizzard Mountain, and will as expected bring us to some extreme environments. New areas like the extreme sports snow park and a massive frozen lake really makes this stand out from the warm environments in the base version.
It also includes a brand-new campaign, challenging players to compete in more than 50 new events and challenges with the ultimate goal of becoming the King of the Mountain. The new racing types includes Hill Climb, Descent and Blizzard race events. In addition, players will be able to take part in new Bucket List Blueprint and Rivals events, as well as earn 28 new Xbox Live Achievements worth 500 Gamerscore points. Those new snow tire upgrades will most definitely come in handy.
