Street Fighter V might have been off to a rocky start with lower than expected grades in reviews and poor sales, but this doesn't mean Capcom is about to give up on the game anytime soon. Quite the opposite, in fact.
In an interview with Japanese Famitsu (via Event Hubs), the producer Yoshinori Ono says there are plans to support the game until 2020:
"It's not just a one-two year thing. We're looking pretty far ahead... We've planned out as far as 2020 or so."
PlayStation 4 would be seven years old by then, which is how long PlayStation 3 was on the market before it was replaced by it's successor. Do you think this is reasonable or will Capcom pull the plug before this?
