Not long after a successful game has launched there is the inevitable talk of a sequel - and the same goes for Borderlands 2. However, Gearbox Software's Randy Pitchford took to Twitter to reaffirm that the developer had not started work on Borderlands 3 as of now:
"Chill out internet. No one has started working on a sequel to Borderlands 2. It's fun to talk and think, but actual effort is focused on Borderlands 2 DLC, Aliens, etc.".
Naturally, we can expect more from Borderlands 2 before work on what seems an evitable third game can begin.
"Clean and Simple truth: The only Borderlands related game development work going on right now is for Borderlands 2."
