Ubisoft has recently released a new patch fixing a lot of the issues players have been experiencing since the release of their final content drop for the year, Operation Red Crow.
As we reported yesterday, the new Operator Hibana caused the game to freeze any time a player would use her gadget. Ubisoft then removed her from the game, causing an even greater problem that prevented players from moving past the end of Season rewards screen, crashing the game.
The developer has addressed this issue in its recent patch, as well as fixing the vote to kick system as they felt it was being abused.
"Since its implementation, we have noticed abuse of the vote to kick feature, especially in ranked matches where there is a stiff penalty," Ubisoft wrote. "While we are still looking at other ways to implement a system that will allow for a more pleasant player experience, we found it necessary to remove this feature in ranked for the short term."
Patch 5.1 is now available on all platforms, and you can view the full patch notes here. Did you have issues with the vote to kick feature?
