Ubisoft was aiming to fix the seamless multiplayer in Watch Dogs 2 last week, but failed to do so. Now it would seem that they're getting closer to completely fixing it.
They've announced that the seamless multiplayer will be implemented gradually, and that the first phase of it has already been released on PlayStation 4, with the Xbox One version to follow in a few hours. This first phase will let us:
• Invite friends to co-op or search for new co-op partners
• Hack into a rival hacker's world
• Find targets for Bounty Hunts or trigger a bounty on ourselves
Ubisoft will monitor the online stability of these seamless multiplayer features, and will deploy the remaining elements when they are sure the fix is working. Was this aspect of Watch Dogs 2 something you were looking forward to?
