Dark times seem to be inbound for German publisher Daedalic Entertainment, as the Hamburg based company will fire 12 employees from development and sales and will not prolong terminable contracts, as being reported by Gameswirtschaft.
Founder and CEO Carsten Fichtelmann had this to say (translated via Facebook): "the revenues per title [...] have fallen more and more. If we want to remain viable, we need [...] development in our structure. The current situation is [like this] despite outstanding games this year as Deponia Doomsday, Silence [...] Unfortunately we have to respond and provide us with unbridled spirit for the year 2017 new on."
