Firaxis Games today released a new update for Civilization VI, called Fall 2016 Update, which introduces several important improvements to the game, not only regarding the technical side, but also in terms of mechanics and gameplay. Among the most important innovations is the fact that the game now fully supports DirectX12 and also the top-range AMD and NVIDIA cards.

Regarding new content, "Fall 2016 Update" adds two new maps (Four-Leaf Clover" and" Six-Armed Snowflake"- both playable online and offline) and a new multiplayer mode, called "Cavalry and Cannonades". Players can now change the name to the towns and flow freely between the various units and locations in their possession too. Further improvements were made to the management system of the components of the various civilisations. For more information and for full details, you can read the official changelog at this link.
