Netherrealm Studios confirmed at E3 2016 that Injustice 2 will see a lot of character DLC coming after launch. Although the game is still waiting for a release date in 2017, Ed Boon and his team is planing what fighters will suit better for download.
The co-creator of Mortal Kombat has opened two pools on Twitter. The first one (see here) asks for MK characters Subzero, Raiden, Johnny Cage, and Jax. The second one (see here) is about characters not related to his own saga: Spawn, Hellboy, Terminator and Buffy.
