Final Fantasy XV's Judgment Disc has recently been released, however, Japanese players have already been experiencing problems such as glitches and bugs, and Director Hajime Tabata has taken to Twitter to address this concerns people are having (as translated by Siliconera).
"Thank you for playing the demo," Tabata starts by saying. "About the bugs, we're currently working on fixing them, and there are plans to release a patch for its fix. Please be assured that we'll find the frequency of the bugs and make the adjustments accordingly."
"Are any of you wondering about the movie in the demo where Noctis' country gets attacked? If so, please check out Kingsglaive, where you'll see the battle of King Regis, which is in the background of the game. Due to the storage space, we didn't include the Kingsglaive movie into the master disc. However, we're readying to upgrade the main game with a patch, and the reason the demo shows some of the upgrade."
"In addition to the availability of the Judgment Disc, we've announced that the Platinum demo will end distribution in about a week. However, thanks to the demand of many, we've decided to change its availability for it to last an entire year, so those who've yet to play it can rest assured."
"I will [also] answer questions about the delay and patch. It took us about two months to get rid of all the bugs in order to have players get to get to the ending safely. I believe that the high evaluation of the demo this time around is a result of that. Since it's difficult to completely fix every little thing, we will release a patch for its fixes. With the current technology, it is impossible to get rid of all the bugs of an open-world game in such little time, so please understand that the fixes will come steadily."
"The freedom of play-style brings a big variety to play the game. while the program sets a rule, there's just too much to do in an open-world game that goes beyond one's understanding. Please stick around for a while!"
