Details about the Minecraft film seem to be trickling out slowly. Last year we learned that the film changed directors, and this summer that it'll be released in 2019, and today we might have learned who's going to play Steve, the game and film's protagonist.
Variety claims that Steve Carrell is in talks to join the project. They don't know what role he's looking to fill, but considering Carrell's recent success with The Big Short it wouldn't be a surprise if he gets the starring role.
