The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been a long time coming, but Wii U owners have excused Nintendo for a while, because the game would then be the big proliferated launch title for their upcoming platform, the Switch.

The established Nintendo insider Emily Rogers now says otherwise, however. She actually says the game will miss the Switch launch in March.

In a detailed post she claims that localisation work is to last all the way to December, which will be followed by between four and six months of testing before the game can be sent to certification.

This means that the game would release in the summer of 2017 at the earliest, and this rumour has been corroborated by a couple of sources lately. Would this be devastating news, or would you rather wait for the quality?
