It's safe to say Infinite Warfare hasn't gotten off to the best of starts. It has been criticised for allegedly not allowing Windows players of the game to play with Steam players and is also struggling on Steam, and it seems the bad news continues when you look at the Steam player base for the opening weekend.
According to Githyp, there was a peak of 15,280 players over this past launch weekend, charting at number 27 on Steam, with Infinite Warfare Twitch viewers at 101,000. In comparison with Black Ops III, then, this shows a big decline, as Black Ops III charted at number four with a peak of 63,671, also having 190,000 Twitch viewers, putting it at number one for two days.
This rapid decline mirrors the decline in sales compared to Black Ops III, however, Infinite Warfare did edge out Battlefield 1 in the charts. What do you think of Infinite Warfare?
