Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is a brave attempt to do something new with the famous series that has seen some stagnation lately, and this appears to have brought high expectations, as Capcom has now reported to its shareholders and investors that between the launch on January 24 and until the end of the fiscal quarter (March 31) they expect to sell no less than four million copies.

In comparison, Resident Evil 6 only managed around five million during its lifetime, and Resident Evil 5 sold roughly six and a half million, both being pretty impressive results and some of the best in Capcom's history.
