We know quite a few of you want to join the Xbox Preview Program to get in on new apps, games and other features before they are released to the public. Due to popular demand, Microsoft is now expanding this service and changing the name to Xbox Insider Program, letting all users get in on the program.

The idea is that you test all these new features early to make sure everything works as planned, and preferably also provide feedback so it can be tweaked to perfection.

This is what all of those who wish to participate can look forward to, according to Major Nelson:

• A new name - the Xbox Insider Hub
• Personalised to give you more relevant announcements, quests, and Insider content opportunities to get early access to select games and apps
• A new UI, inspired by the New Xbox One Experience, makes it easier to find the right info and provide more robust feedback
• The Xbox Insider profile card where your contributions in the program come front and center
• Support for multiple users on a console to participate and provide feedback

It is worth noticing that this does not include Xbox system updates, and this will still be limited. If you want to know more about the Insider Program, head over to the official FAQ. Will you be getting in on the new service?
