DICE's VP general manager Patrick Bach has just announced that he's leaving DICE after well over a decade at the studio. Prior to his tenure at DICE he worked at Amuze, a now closed down Stockholm studio responsible for the Headhunter titles.

Bach was the lead designer of RalliSport Challenge 2 back in 2002, but went over to be a producer for Battlefield: Bad Company. He has since continued as an executive producer for the studio until today. Considering Battlefield 1's success we'd have to say he goes out with a bang, don't you think? We wish him the very best in the future.

DICE also recently said farewell to Karl-Magnus Troedsson, another high ranking executive with many years at the studio, so it remains to be seen how EA fills this void in leadership, via internal recruitment or by bringing in someone from the outside.
