A report has emerged comparing the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of Skyrim Special Edition, and it seems to be well made overall, with a few differences and a huge step up compared to the original.

Both versions run smoothly in rock solid 30 FPS with 1080p graphics. There are, however, some problems with the sound on the Xbox One version of the game, which Bethesda fortunately says will be sorted out in a patch shortly. It is also worth noticing that Skyrim for PlayStation 4 has support for the Pro console which will boost the Special Edition even further.

The Xbox One version also has advantages, namely mods. While this is supported on both consoles, Sony has been more restrictive and Bethesda didn't even want to include them for PlayStation 4 a while ago. As it is right now, PlayStation 4 has 1 GB space reserved for mods with 38 to choose from. On Xbox One it has 5 GB with a whopping 119 mods.

Which of these two versions do you think sounds more attractive, or are you simply preferring PC?
