Hi-Rez Studios' Paladins: Champions of the Realm has been a subject of controversy ever since the game recently entered open beta. This is largely due to the fact that the game mechanically and visually seems to be drawing a lot of inspiration from Blizzard's Overwatch, however, it would appear that the game actually precedes Overwatch by a large margin, and so the discussion has been on-going for a while.
