Sony and Steam are dealing with complaints and refund petitions since No Man's Sky launched, with fans unhappy at a variety of aspects of the game, one such aspect being the multiplayer, or lack of. People found out that the game has lesser features than expected and the British Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) contacted both Hello Games and Valve to answer the marketing issues in the wake of the game's release, but Sony, however, have refused to offer refunds to those who are upset.

"There was no mention of multiplayer within the product description on the PlayStation Store" of No Man's Sky, so there isn't any reason to complain and ask for a refund, at least according to the official answer from the PSN customer service to Pixel Vulture. "In the description it always said 1 player, but it was portrayed in the media that it might have it", goes the message. This has upset fans who believed that Sean Murray's words contradict the official descriptions.

Hello Games is still working on updates and DLC for No Man's Sky. Will we see everything promised?
