When Bethesda released Doom earlier this year we got our review copy the day before launch. It turns out that it won't be the only time that this happens.
Ahead of the upcoming release of the Skyrim remaster, the publisher has just revealed its new review policy, which states that it'll continue to send the media review copies one day before release. The reasoning:
"We want everyone, including those in the media, to experience our games at the same time."
This obviously means that we, in most cases, won't be able to deliver our full review ahead of launch, and that those of you who want to read reviews before you make your decision will have to wait a bit longer.
