Studio Wildcard released a new update for ARK: Survival Evolved, which adds procedural maps to the game. You may even define a number of parameters and options before the maps are generated, including mountains sizes, how many rivers and biomes it will have, and other similar characteristics.
Another feature in the update is the introduction of three new dinosaurs: Kaprosuchus, Chalicotherium and Diplocaulus. Players can also find notes and pieces of story that offer a temporary increase in experience. One of the most requested features by players - the ability to use weapons on dinosaurs - was also introduced with the update.
Players can also buy the new expansion, ARK: Scorched Earth, for a price of €20 / £15 (although it's currently discounted on Steam), which seems a bit ironic considering they are launching an expansion to a game that's still in development. ARK: Survival Evolved is available in Steam's Early Access and Xbox One's Game Preview.
