Previously Sega have been reluctant to commit to a business model for the upcoming PS Vita version of Phantasy Star Online 2. The PC version has already been confirmed as free-to-play (it's already out in Japan), but it remained uncertain whether the PS Vita version would follow along the same path.
Now Sega has confirmed that Phantasy Star Online 2 on PS Vita will be free-to-play, and it will be interesting to see if it can be successful using this model on the Vita.
