In a short interview with NintendoLife, and over on their Facebook page, SteamWorld Dig and SteamWorld Heist developer Image & Form has confirmed they were the first developers in Europe to get a Nintendo Switch devkit earlier this year.
No details on the new game from Image & Form was divulged, but development has already started.
"It's an idea we have had for quite a while and Switch will be the perfect platform for it."
Image & Form has forged a close relationship with Nintendo over the years, and are owned (partially) by Nintendo's longtime distribution partner in the Nordics, Bergsala, so perhaps it is no major surprise they had early access to the Switch.
Hopefully, we'll learn more about their new game soon...
