There is still no official confirmation of just what's happening with United Front Games, but perhaps the closure of the studio isn't as dramatic as feared. At least a message on Steam suggests this as it says that refunds will be offered to anyone who bought the Early Access version of Smash & Grab, regardless of the time they spent in the game. This as United Front Games "will not be doing any further development or support".
Rumours of the demise of United Front Games (Sleeping Dogs, Little Big Planet Karting) surfaced earlier this week, and while no official confirmation of it excists there has been plenty of staff confirmations on social media. Hopefully, the fact that those who bought Smash & Grab can get a refund also means that former employees are taken care of in some way.
