The Call of Duty: Warfare Infinite cast is getting a rather unusual addition to its lineup of all-star actors. Although the series has featured some famous names over the years - including Kevin Spacey and Kit Harrington (who's in Infinite Warfare), just to name a few - the latest addition stands out in a different way, as Lewis Hamilton has been unveiled today.

Hamilton himself announced it on Twitter, and he also published a picture of the character who will borrow his face, voice and likeness. The F1 driver has also commented the news as follows:

"I grew up with Super Mario, where the graphics were outdated at the time," Hamilton said in a recent interview reported by Motorsport. "It's crazy to see how far it [computer games have come] - the realisation is unbelievable".

"I loved it," he said, discussing his involvement in the game. "It was a great experience, I am incredibly honoured to be part of this game. I've been a fan for years," he added.

Hamilton is not the only sports star to feature in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, as noted Irish MMA superstar Conor McGregor also has a role in the upcoming game.

Call of Duty: Warfare Infinite will be available on November 4 to PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles. This weekend a new beta test is up and running, this time open not only to PS4 pre-orders, but also for Xbox One pre-orders and even those who haven't pre-ordered on PS4.
