Konami has announced the first two free updates for Pro Evolution Soccer 2017. The October update (1.2) will include the addition of improved facial likenesses to players within the game. More than 39 new faces are added, including Wissam Ben Yedder, Mario Lemina, Aymeric Laporte, Victor Wanyama and Denis Suarez. This new update will also update the "pitch side hoardings" and introduce new official boot styles to the game, including the option of choosing from a variety of studs.
Alongside the PlayStation 4 Pro launch, Konami will offer a November update (1.3), which will add a 4K resolution mode adding greater visual definition running at 60FPS. The 1.3 update will also see the introduction of key elements related to two sides in the game, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund. The iconic Anfield stadium will be added, and will also be the first to show the club's brand new stand within a video game. Liverpool songs and chants, including 'You'll Never Walk Alone', will be also added to offer a new sense or realism in-game. Similarly, Borussia Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park arena will be added, and both teams have players perfectly recreated in-game.
