Rockstar Games officially announced Red Dead Redemption 2 earlier today for PS4 and Xbox One and the gaming world went crazy. However there was no mention a PC version on its website or in the press release and as you'd expect PC gamers aren't happy, they've gone crazy (although in a more angry way).

It also didn't take long for a petition to appear to bring Red Dead Redemption 2 to PC. You can sign the petition here, but we wouldn't expect the petition itself to change much in terms of what Rockstar has planned.

The first Red Dead Redemption was developed for PS3 and Xbox 360 and it never saw a PC release, which to this day still mystifies many. However Rockstar Games are known for releasing PC versions after the console release as the case was with GTAV, and perhaps something similar is on the cards here.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to release Fall 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One. A trailer is to be released on Thursday at 4pm BST. See you on the Grand Plains cowboy, yeehaw.
