If you miss The Legend of Legacy, the popular JRPG for 3DS by Japanese developer FuRyu, then you're in luck. While there seems to be no plans for a sequel just yet, something very close to it has just been announced.

In the newest addition of the Japanese gaming magazine Weekly Jump (as reported by Gematsu) the developer has announced The Alliance Alive, a new "Group Performance RPG" for the 3DS, which is set to arrive in Japan during the spring next year.

The story features nine protagonists, and they are:

Tigi - Self-Proclaimed Prodigy Professor
Vivian - Daughter of a Noble Magic Being
Ignace - Vivian's Butler
Galil - Boy of the Resistance
Ursula - Galil's Childhood Friend
Rachel - Guild Mercenary
Barbarosa - Ghost Soldier
Jean - Knowledgeable Mage
Renzo - Well-Informed Young Man

It's currently unknown whether the game will make its way to the West, although we can assume there would be fans who would welcome it with open arms. Are you one of them?
