Playstation Plus subscribers in North America are to receive a 10% discount on day-one digital releases on the Playstation Store.
The PSN Day 1 Digital initiative will see games such as Resident Evil 6, Assassin's Creed III, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Dishonored, and Medal of Honor: Warfighter all reduced in price and released in tandem with the traditional retail launch.
As it stands this initiative is only being rolled out by Sony America, and it remains to be seen if European gamers will get the same offer.
