The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition is set to launch on October 28, and Bethesda seems to be on track. They've just announced that the game has "gone gold", and what's required of your PC to run it:

Minimum:

• Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit Version)
• Intel i5-750/AMD Phenom II X4-945.
• NVIDIA GTX 470 1GB /AMD HD 7870 2GB
• 8GB of RAM.
• 12GB of free HDD space

Recommended:

• Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit Version)
• Intel i5-2400/AMD FX-8320.
• NVIDIA GTX 780 3GB /AMD R9 290 4GB
• 8GB of RAM
• 12GB of free HDD space

Console players needs a few more gigabytes of free space to install the game, as you'll need 33GB (20GB in North America) of free space on PlayStation 4 and 25GB (17GB in North America) on Xbox One.

Will you go on another adventure as the Dragonborn, or have you taken an arrow to the knee?
