Many believe that the demanding system requirements are one of the main reasons why Oculus Rift hasn't exactly sold like candy these last few months. It would seem that the folks at Oculus are aware of this, as they've now lowered said requirements. These are the new ones:
• Nvidia 960 or greater (used to be Nvidia GTX 970 / AMD 290 equivalent or better)
• Intel i3-6100 / AMD FX4350 or better (used to be Intel i5-4590 equivalent or better)
• 8GB or more RAM (same)
• 1x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0 (used to be 2x USB 3.0 ports)
• Windows 8 or newer (used to be Windows 7 SP1 or newer)
Are you going to buy a headset after these changes?
