The virtual reality experience of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (not the base game), and Batman: Arkham VR, were both announced as exclusive PlayStation VR titles during the last E3, but it seems that this exclusivity not for life. It was Sony themselves that revealed the timed exclusivity via an ad published by the official PlayStation Facebook account.
The ads related to Resident Evil 7 and Batman: Arkham VR reveal that both are PlayStation VR exclusives for the next 12 months. This means that the two games may appear a year later in other virtual reality devices, such as the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift and whatever VR device Project Scorpio will employ.
