FIFA 17 and PES 2017 are missing new football rule

Kick-offs don't look like they should in this year's football sims.

If you are aware of updates to the football rules for the new season, you most likely know what we are talking about, but the more distracted may not yet have noticed that something is different this year at football matches. Previously, kick-offs had to be played forward, but the overwhelming majority of the teams touched the ball every so slightly to a player that would then pass the ball back.

This year that rule has changed. From this season onward, players can pass the ball straight back from the kick-off. That's why so many kick-offs now only have one player near the ball, because it can go straight back. Well, this rule is not yet applied in FIFA 17 or PES 2017. It is a detail, but the truth is that the two football simulators are a bit outdated when it comes tp a rule that comes into effect at least twice in every match.
