It seems like No Man's Sky didn't have the longevity with gamers as Hello Games and Sony surely were hoping for. Last month we reported that a whopping 91% of players had left the game after the ten first days on Steam, and now Digital Spy offers stats that show that the rapid decline amongst the players has continued.
It is no longer one of the 100 most played games on Steam, and last Sunday only 2,123 players were enjoying the vast space exploration title on an hourly basis.
A lot of gamers have complained that Hello Games under-delivered on their promises, and clearly the PC version has had its fair share of issues. Perhaps future updates can turn things around, but at the moment No Man's Sky is edging closer to having no-one in its sky.
