The high anticipated expansion for Destiny, Rise of Iron, arrives this Tuesday to PS4 and Xbox One, but it is not off to a good start since many players are suffering different problems with it. Bungie is aware of the issues and has opened a message on the forum boards collecting every complaint.

"Getting error code Tapir", "getting repeated 'network servers not available'" and "it still says I don't own Rise of Iron. I can clearly see it in my games menu as installed" are among the complaints. Some people can't sign in online to play the game while other people just can't access to the new DLC content even it is installed in the console.

Through the Twitter account BungieHelp, the company said during the morning that "due to heavy server traffic, we have temporarily implemented a sign on Queue for Destiny on all platforms". Two hours later, services were restored, but not fully functional.

This is the message at the time of writing:

"Destiny: Rise of Iron Known Issues:

Local Network Fireteam Issues: We are actively investigating an issue where some players are unable to join Fireteams that are hosted on a Local Network. While players may continue to play Destiny independently, attempting to join a local Fireteam may result in the following error codes:
- "Unable to join Target Player"
- "Unable to join Fireteam"

Waypoint above Tower: We are aware of an issue where players who own the Year 1 Thorn will see a waypoint above the Tower when in orbit.

Taken War Heroic Strike does not reward Legendary Marks: With the release of Destiny: Rise of Iron, players who do not own Rise of Iron may continue to access the Taken War Heroic Strike Playlist. We are aware of an issue where this activity shows Legendary Mark Rewards on the in-game tooltip.

Destiny: Rise of Iron Grimoire: Players may lose Grimoire if the Character in which it was earned is deleted. We are actively investigating this issue.

If you encounter any additional issues at the launch of Destiny: Rise of Iron, please post a report below."
