The Tokyo Game Show keeps on growing and the organiser association CESA (Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association) has revealed that the attendance figures are the highest ever, also announcing the dates for next year's show.
With 271,224 visitors, about 3,000 more than twelve months ago, TGS 2016 only narrowly set a new attendance record. There was also a new high regarding business too, with 614 companies and groups exhibiting and 1,149 companies registered for B2B negotiations. The organisation also says the VR Area has drawn the attention from visitors and press alike.
Tokyo Game Show 2017 will run from Thursday, September 21 until Sunday, September 24 at the Makuhari Messe next year. This means that the new show will take place one week later than previous years.
