It has recently been discovered that the new 4.00 update for the PlayStation 4 allows players to see hidden trophy information on the console.
The process of seeing these hidden trophies is as easy as selecting the trophy in question and then pressing square to 'Show Hidden Information'. You can then select 'Options' and then 'Search Internet' should you wish to gather more information.
This isn't the only change relating to trophies, however, as there is now a pyramid to indicate scarcity of trophies, as opposed to a star system. Another change is that your when you select games via your profile page you now get an overview for each, showing trophy progress and the most recent award, as well as showing the rarest trophy.
