Valve won't stop the banhammer there though.

According to recent data yesterday over 11,000 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive cheaters were banned.

These bans were administered by the Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) system and sees the largest spike in more than a year. The system usually bans a few thousand people a day, but this recent spike indicates that Valve have maybe upgraded the system to detect multiple cheating methods.

The battle isn't over, however, and cheaters will always adapt, but this is one small victory in the war against cheating.
