Titanfall hitting mobile phones later this year

Frontline heading to a smartphone near you.

With Titanfall 2 covering consoles and PC, Respawn Entertainment had something different in mind when they hired Particle City to put their signature series onto the small screen. The result was something more similar to Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft than the shooter arriving in October, but the name is still Titanfall: Frontline.

Playing on the burn cards found in the base game, the Titanfall series will soon have it's own digital card game for Android and iOS. How it works is still largely unknown, but judging by the screens games like Hearthstone have clearly been an inspiration.

Unlike in Hearthstone, however, we can except more of a sci-fi inspired theme for Titanfall: Frontline, when the game arrives some time in the last quarter of this year.
