Blizzard's Chris Metzen, known for his work on games such as Diablo, Starcraft, Warcraft, and Overwatch, has announced that he's leaving the studio and video game industry all together.
It's nothing goo dramatic though, as he just wants to spend more time with his growing family. He leaves a lengthy, heartfelt goodbye on the Battle.net forums where he looks back on his nearly twenty-three years at Blizzard, and thanks players for some fantastic experiences.
There's no doubt that Metzen has given us some memorable experiences through the years, with Overwatch's Soldier 76 being one of his last ones. This man deserves his retirement, and we wish him the very best in his future endeavours.
