Krome Studios, Australia's largest independent games developer, has put staff on notice in Bribane and Melbourne, while the future of the its Adelaide studio will be decided once the four week notice period is up. Krome Studios first cut staff back in November, and it seems the rough patch is far from over.

The following is a statement made to Australian Gamespot by Krome Studios:

"As we have seen by other recent announcements, the games industry is still going through economic challenges which Krome is not immune from. These times are challenging and as a result, we have put some of our staff on notice pending the outcome of a number of upcoming projects,"

Krome Studios have recently worked on Microsoft's Game Room, Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Republic Heroes, and are working on Blade Kitten and Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole, but perhaps they are best known for the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger series.
