During tonight's PlayStation Meeting Sony Interactive Entertainment's CEO, Andrew House, announced today that the PlayStation 4 Pro will support 4K content from services like Netflix and specific Youtube channels on YouTube. What he failed to mention was that the Pro won't support 4K Blu-rays.
Two of our most reliable sources shared the news with us earlier this evening. The PlayStation 4 Pro will indeed lets us stream 4K content on Netflix and certain other apps, just not by putting a 4K Blu-ray in our drive. They also said that this probably can't be fixed in future updates.
Is this a big problem, or is streaming 4K enough?
