Realtime Worlds have published a few statements with regards to the on-going service of recently launched APB, as the company has gone into administration. They vow to continue the service and update the game with patches (a patch is out this week).

Meanwhile, the administrators at Begbies Traynor have shed a bit of light just at the current state of Realtime Worlds. Out of 210 employees in Dundee, 53 jobs have been retained for now, and at the headquarters in Colorado 14 out of 42 jobs were retained. It is also said that Realtime Worlds owes about £3 million to creditors.

Paul Dounis, of Begbies Traynor, had the following comments:

"We are actively pursuing all these expressions of interest which have come from both the UK and US. We very much regret the redundancies that we have had to make."

"The game will continue and that is something we want all customers to be aware of," he emphasised.

Hopefully Begbies Traynor can find a buyer for Realtime Worlds quickly... Meanwhile Blitz Games and The Creative Assembly have arranged events in Dundee to help some of the redundant Realtime Worlds employees find new jobs.
