Warner Bros. have brought Ed Boon to Cologne and Gamescom to show off the next iteration of Mortal Kombat, a PS3/Xbox 360 title that will feature 2D gameplay in a 3D environment (sort of like Street Fighter IV). These screens were of a ridiculously high resolution when we got them (7680x4320), and were trimmed down to 1920x1080, so they may look a bit sharper than what true direct feed images would look like.
