Expectations are high when it comes to Titanfall 2, the sequel to Respawn's debut shooter which released back in 2014. The follow up will debut on Xbox One, PC and (for the first time) on PlayStation 4 this autumn. Players have recently been able to take a closer look at the game thanks to two technical test weekends, which also allowed the studio to check if there were issues regarding the multiplayer servers ahead of launch.
Recently Titanfall 2's level designer Mohammed Alavi had the opportunity to offer a few more details about the content we'll find in the game in an interview with The Telegraph, where he talked about the number of maps that we'll find in the multiplayer mode (there will be more than the six seen during the tech test) and what to expect from the single-player campaign:
"That feeling of being able to go anywhere you want, we managed to keep that in the single player," Alavi said. "There's puzzle, exploration and even combat scenarios where we don't hold your hand through it, you have to figure out your own path. You can get in and out of your Titan - the combat spaces support that - and it's just as fun to play as a Titan as it is a pilot."
Titanfall 2 will be available on October 28 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. You can read about the new campaign by taking aim at this link, and we've got multiplayer impressions that can be found by clicking here.
