Funcom, the makers of recently released MMORPG The Secret World, has been making some major cutbacks across their operation following below par sales for their latest endeavour.
Martin Bruusgaard, the ex-lead designer working on The Secret World, confirmed that he had left the company via Twitter. In a series of posts he revealed: "Unfortunately, I'm not with Funcom anymore... Got put on forced leave along with most of our Oslo Office, a week ago. I think that 50% was an overall Funcom percentage. The Oslo office got hit much much harder."
