When IO Interactive decided to delay the physical version of Hitman they just said that it would launch in 2017. Now we know the exact date.
The physical version, called Hitman: The Complete First Season, will be available on January 31, and cost €59.99 / £49.99 on consoles and €49.99 / £39.99 on PC. It'll include all of the locations, challenges, opportunities, Escalation Contracts, and Contracts created by the community released up till the time of release. This means that you'll not only get to play around in the Prologue, Paris, Sapienza, Marrakesh, and Bangkok, but also in the upcoming missions in USA and Japan.
You'll also be able to buy a Day One Steelbook Edition featuring all of the game's Season One content plus three bonus missions packs (Includes "The Icon", "A House Built on Sand" missions, and the upcoming "Landslide" mission), the original soundtrack, the 'Making of' Hitman documentary, and the Requiem Blood Money pack (can also be purchased individually on January 31 digitally). The PlayStation 4 version will also include the six additional exclusive The Sarajevo Six missions.
Of course, the naming all but confirms that there's a second season under way, which IO Interactive have hinted at in the past.
