Two days ago we reported that the Nintendo NX's rumoured handheld component will offer a resolution of 720p on a 6.2" screen. It was the usually reliable Emily Rogers who shared these details, and today she has more.

She decided to compare notes with LetsPlayVideoGames' Laura Kate Dale, and realised that their different sources had the exact same details, with one notable exception. Here's a recap:

• As we reported back in July it seems that Nvidia is involved with the system.

• Multi-touch touchscreen, and she hasn't heard anything about a stylus.

• The dev kits have 32 GB of internal storage, but they may increase storage to 64GB for the final retail unit (unlikely in her opinion).

• There is an SD Card port.

• Dock Station has at least 2 USB ports on prototype. She's not sure about final product.

• NX will support Unreal Engine 4 and Unity engine

• NX is below PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in raw power.

• Dev kits and prototypes are region free, and she has heard that retail units might be region free as well.

• Their sources claimed that there's a Sharing / Social button on the controller.

The only information their sources disagreed on was where the right analogue stick will be positioned. One source claims that it'll be placed above the face buttons, while two other sources claims that it'll be placed under them.

She finishes her post be assuring 3DS owners that Nintendo plans to support the handheld with software through 2018.
